LOOK BACK. RELEASE. BE GRATEFUL.

Now is a time when you are finding that a year ends, and a New Year will begin soon. Such moments are important because they mark a change in your life; a change that can be conscious or less conscious for you.

The end of the year is an opportunity for you to look back at some of the things that you have experienced in the recent past, so that you can review your beliefs around these experiences, and also let go of what doesn't seem to work for you.

Doing this kind of reviewing on a regular basis, (as in yearly) makes it possible for you to observe those beliefs that may be creeping into your life, that you want to keep from establishing themselves into your mind, when they hold you back you from experiencing joy, flow and ease.

So why don't you find a moment to sit down in the stillness of your personal space, and give yourself this gift of looking at what you've accomplished in the past year, and what you've given a lot of time and energy to? See how much of that energy has been well-spent, and how much of it has been wasted. Make sure that you are aware what caused you to give your energy to a situation that didn't really give you much satisfaction, and as you understand this, you will be able to stay observant of other times when this may happen again.

Give yourself some time also to be grateful, and to offer thanks to all the people and the situations that have contributed to your growth this year. Certainly they must have been plenty, and not all of them perfect, or even pleasant. Give thanks for them anyway, and make sure that you release any trace of resentment and anger.

Free yourself of the limited thoughts that keep you believing that the only way forward is the way that has been proved right, or the one that has been tried by others. Also, make sure that while you go out and have new adventures, you don't deny yourself the gift of wisdom coming from direct experience.

Stay open minded, and make sure that above all, you let go of misconceptions about who you believe you are, and who you believe you've been. Embrace this New Year with the openness of heart and mind, which will allow you to explore new ways to be Who You Are, and this in turn will help you to stay aligned with your Soul's purpose in this lifetime.

And if, at any time, you feel lonely, desperate and unable to let go... just remember that someone else before you has been through that same experience, and that person has also moved past it. The trail has been blazed by many others before you, so don't worry. You will find your way again.

Cherish who you have become, and all the great people that you've encountered along the way, and please remember that in your life, you are always loved and cared for by many angels and guides.
